Fun fact, Chiori made the outfits Lyney, Lynette, Navia and Kirara wear, and also the accesories for Charlotte's camera! That's why they showed up in her demo, to show her work. As another comment has told you, you will know more about Chevreuse's personality in the film event, "Roses and Muskets" and yeah, it's a separate event like The Chalk Prince or Unreconciled Stars (though be sure to watch it after Fontaine's main storyline)

And I especially enjoyed that your line up included Navia, the pretty pirate with a parasol to Arlecchino, the impending jump scare (just the vibe of course) just to see the change in tone from character to character. Genshin does try to present itself as fun and light hearted but every so often it seems to want to remind us that the story can and does go dark when it needs to.
