And the moment in the arena when naruto holds back the chakra bomb. Boruto has flashbacks to when he was a kid doing stuff with naruto. Its a sweet moment

Why not show the screen 😞

I really loved your guys reaction and Ken calling Mitsuki (white snake kid) "we wont, Creepy Moon child" to Mistuki saying to not forget him was funny asf! and yeah so also this movie came out not long after the manga just finished for Naruto Shippuden and 2 years before the anime finished in 2017 this movie came out in 2015 which was really early way before many things were even decided of whats gonna happen for the Boruto series so that was cool.

They revisited the Chunin exams stuff from the original Naruto anime, back then these exams were more dangerous, there was a section called the "Forest Of Death" where kids who participated in it died after five days of survival( and stealing ninja scrolls from the opposing teams in the forest), safe to say when Naruto became Hokage he made changes so that the Exams could be much safer.

Good to know the show takes more time to highlight Boruto's strenghts as well because he does kinda come across like a spoiled brat at times. We never disliked him, but he didn't endear us as much as Naruto did when we first met him.

Bethany and Ken

Plus their combo moves in the anime fight scenes are better! Throwbacks to old school Naruto & Sasuke, felt like a tribute to their bond

I said the same! And not enough kakashi!

The fight scene between Naruto and Sasuke vs. Momoshiki is WAY better on the anime. Momoshiki looks better too. If you can please check that whole fight out too!

I actually liked this movie more than the Last, only because of what Bethany said at the end: Naruto and Sasuke's camaraderie after going through so much in their past. I just love their adult dynamic, seeing their children grow up, them working together when things get crucial, and also seeing their peers living out their adult lives after all they've been through from the past series. And on a personal note, I enjoy it too because I was literally Naruto's age when I started watching the series and now I'm as old as they are now in Boruto, and I feel like I actually grew up with them

I don't know if you want to watch any of the Boruto anime. But if you're thinking about it you should keep in mind most of it is anime original or adaptions of spin off material. They made a all year long weekly anime out of a monthly manga which resulted in a show that's about 80 percent filler. Now if you just want to watch the important stuff that happens after the Boruto movie. Then watch episodes 148-151/181-220/ 287-293. That's about 51 episodes in all instead of 293 episodes. Obviously you will be skipping a lot. Mostly anime original stuff but also some backstory/side story stuff and the anime's version of the movie. But that's the quickest and easiest way to see what happens next. Also keep in mind the Boruto anime isn't finished yet. It's on hiatus for the next several years. But when it does come back it will be as a seasonal show which should get rid of most of the filler.

Yeah, I wrote my comment before the end of the video. But my point still stands that Lee is a more prominent figure of the series than Gaara is.

No her hair doesn't resemble anything close to Karin, it's literally just the glasses. When Sarada's not wearing her glasses her face is literally Sakura's but with darker eyes.

Brianda Sandoval

Honestly it's the way the hair is, and she is wearing Karin's glasses or glasses Karin gave her.

They realize that during the end commentary

What naruto did to boruto when boruto cheated isn't really being harsh. Yes to the western audience it probab make no sense, but. Japan has this culture, a way of life called Bushido, and what it is, is the life of the collective where you don't stand out, either for good or bad, cause it inconveniences the others, when boruto cheated, he created inconvenience for the examiners, smeared mud on the Uzumaki name, and dragged the Hokage's name through the dirt. Naruto wasn't being harsh, he was being Japanese.

That wasn't Guy's kid. It's Rock Lee's who was Guy's student. Which by the way is more prominent in the anime, you see a lot more Lee then you do Gaara. So the anime will give you a whole different perspective of some of your favorite characters.

Brianda Sandoval

No, Mitsuki's not the child of Toneri the moon guy. He's Orochimaru's artificial child clone, he's not human. He's a tube baby essentially made by Orochimaru. Also no despite what anyone says Sarada doesn't look like Karin, she's Sakura's daughter but looks more like Sasuke and she wears glasses. Those damn glasses are literally the only reason people think she resembles Karin. Sarada has dark hair and eyes which are typical features of the Uchiha hence why with the exception of her facial structure she doesn't take after Sakura that much.

This movie was our first animated version of Boruto and his gen, this is why you're not going to be seeing a lot of the adults from Naruto's gen because now they have taken on those roles for their children. Since the Boruto anime came out two years later a lot of things were altered or retconned such as the Momoshiki fight. In the anime he had his proper character design and the fight itself was completely reanimated and different. This is also not the best representation of Boruto as a character because on the surface level he just comes off as a spoiled brat but the anime really showcases how much of the burden Boruto has to take on for his mother and little sister due to Naruto not being there. We see Boruto's a good brother and son; while what Naruto does is important he has to learn a lesson too that his family has to be just as much of a priority as the village. In the anime we see early on Naruto and Boruto's relationship is strained and it's not just because Naruto's a workaholic it's also because he hasn't taken the proper time to get to know his son as an individual person and on top of that Naruto still treats Boruto like a little kid instead of the ninja in training that he is; that is where Sasuke helped Naruto realize that by trusting him as a ninja and not a child. If you ever do decide to check out the Boruto anime just keep in mind Boruto's the protagonist not Naruto which a lot of fans can't accept and we really see the imperfections and flaws of our main characters as parents but that's what makes it interesting; they're not bad parents by any means but they're also not perfect and make mistakes and it's interesting to see the character development as actual adults along with their offspring that they offer so much wisdom too. You can't really showcase this in an hour and a half movie so I recommend the anime; please don't let the haters discourage you.

There’s never enough Kakashi!!!! The episodes that cover the movie are better than the movie. The fight scenes in particular are much better and momoshiki’s design is cooler The episodes are on Hulu

A lot of people thought Sarada was Karin and Sasuke's kid at first, even though Karin didn't get Sasuke at least his kid took on her appearance in tribute, Mitsuki isn't Orochimaru's biological son but one of his experiments he made as a test tube clone of himself, making Orochimaru both the mother and father of Mitsuki as odd as it sounds, Orochimaru was still allowed to continue his experiments but when Naruto became Hokage he made sure Orochimaru would only use his laboratory and experiments for good purposes instead of evil like he did in the past, Metal Lee is Rock Lee's kid, not Guy's, Rock Lee isn't Guy's son either, Rock Lee was Guy's student so he took on Guy's appearance to be more like him.

Boruto the movie, is the only boruto related thing that's decent, the anime is MEH.

So, so, ready. I agree with you both, the movie was fine, but didn't hold up to the Last. Y'all immediately noticed that Sarada looked exactly like Karin, which you're correct, she even has her glasses. There's an entire episode dedicated to Sarada finding out if Sakura really is her mom, or if it's actually Karin but Sakura just took her in. There are some kids you didn't recognize or don't know who their parents are. Inojin, son of Sai and Ino (yes, that Ino, he has his mom's blonde hair and Sai's personality and hobbie of painting). Shikadai, son of Shikamaru and Temari (Gaara's older sister who had the giant fan). Chocho, daughter of Choji and Karui (you never met her) she was earing chips during the first exam, and during the second she was a giant and had the tiny flag. Another thing, when you see Boruto fight he usually strikes with his palms, that's because that's how Hinata fights. About Kurama, even if he dies he's still just Chakra, he'll come back eventually, the Tailed Beasts are immortal. There are a lot of other characters to meet like Kawaki, Jigen, and a clone of a certain sensei. But that will have to wait until you start OG Naruto, Shippuden and then Boruto: Next Generation. By the by, Orochimaru, believe it or not is the best parent, and you'll see why down the road. Konohamaru, so, once you start OG Naruto you'll see exactly why Konohamaru was VERY excited to teach Boruto the Rasengan. Think of it like this, Kakashi was trained by Minato, Naruto's father. Naruto was trained by Kakashi. Konohamaru was sort of Naruto's apprentice for a while, also Naruto's first rival before properly meeting Sasuke (I think). Now Konohamaru is training Boruto. Basically the student becomes the Master. Also Konohamaru always admired Naruto and sees him like a big brother, a shame the games did nothing with Konohamaru as he is the grandson of the Third Hokage and nephew of Asuma. You see a lot of Konohamaru in the shows
