"One big organsim." and "Time is a illusion and so is death." That whole scene is the most impactful scenes for me growing up. I don't think I would be same person without it.

We are loving the show a lot. What people said is true, it keeps getting better ๐Ÿคฉ

You're right; this is more of a setup episode for what's to come. However, the lesson about everything being connected does come back around again - a couple times in fact. So...yes, it is on the nose; but it also is not as random as it seems.

Today is the 16th anniversary of the Finale of Avatar The Last Airbender! Can't believe it has been so long, I still remember watching each episode in awe as a child. I was always so excited when I saw that more episodes had been recorded so I could watch them whenever I wanted. Every time that the intro played and the voice said "Previously, on Avatar" I would get chills. I absolutely LOVED this show and I still do. It brings me back as if it is my first time watching it again when I watch it here with you. I hope you love the show as much as I do!

I think the lesson was that the swamp shows important ppl in your life. And since it shows important ppl past and future, I think it really did want the avatar to show who to look out for

We're actually done with the swamp - it seems like the purpose it called Aang down was to give him that vision of the girl he hasn't met yet.
