They arent actually tie fighter the empire is using at this time those dont appear for another few years. The fighter you saw the trooper using is a V-wing Fighter a different class of fighter its sort of a mix between the Early X-wing fighters with some Tie modeling to it with those iconic wings the ties have Bad batch keeps there weapons on stun normally cause they dont want to shoot to kill there brothers meanwhile there brothers think the batch are traitors to the country they serve
