One Piece Fighting Path All Ultimates Reaction

Early ad-free access for our One Piece Fighting Path All Ultimates Reaction for Fight Night Friday. Video we watched wasn't dubbed unfortunately and even turning on CC didn't help. While we couldn't understand what they were saying, the visuals were what we came for anyways 🤗

One Piece Fighting Path All Ultimates Reaction

Comments

Yeah you lost me when you try to justify saying spoilers. That’s just sad

J Sal

that's the dream man

Luminary_weeb

Apparently, I missed the BT3 reaction back in August. My word. But I just saw the YT version. Now, I’m just waiting on the DB: Raging Blast 2 - Ultimates, Team Attacks, and Transformations reactions lol.

k c

Trying to get my story like that. One day.

🙄 take a chill pill, dude. It’s no big deal at all. They’re never gonna watch the anime. It’s 1100 episodes with a metric fuck ton of movies too. The live action will never show Uta either. It would take 10-12 years at least for them to get that that point and that’s just not gonna be happening. And again, not canon. Just because something’s a spoiler doesn’t make it wrong to say. That’s like saying it’s wrong for me to say “the sailor scouts die in the final season of sailor moon” is wrong when it isn’t.

GrimmxLaw22

Again, if they haven’t seen it, canon or not, if they haven’t seen it, whether they will or not in the near future, N-O S-P-O-I-L-I-N-G PERIOD. Keeping your mouths shut should not be this hard to figure out

J Sal

The chances the live action will introduce Uta are slim-to-none. The chances they're gonna remember Uta and who she is (if they even decide to pick up the anime or the movies) are probably slimmer than that.

Ceeneon

by the way fun fact, One Piece is all written by one guy, Eiichiro Oda. He has editors and such but pretty much the entire story is all written by him. All the wacky designs and powers and such, came from him.

Luminary_weeb

The last character, Uta is a movie exclusive character and i was surprised she was even included so no she hasn't been in anything you've seen

Luminary_weeb

Cause they haven’t seen the movie yet? Y’all can’t be making your own rules for what counts as a spoiler. If they haven’t seen it, canon or not, it’s a spoiler

J Sal

She’s not canon anyways so does it matter?

GrimmxLaw22

easy on the spoilers

Be careful of the spoilers here, some folks are getting a little too excited. But glad to see more One Piece reactions!! Season 2 of the live action is definitely looking fire so far (production-wise) and yes, *some* of the characters you've seen in these ultimates that you haven't seen in the LA yet will appear in that next season, and the actors casted for those roles are perfect so far, but I'll say no more than that. I'm looking forward to your reactions when you see those characters in the next season, and I'm with Bethany, can't wait for Season 2 to come out!!

J Sal

28:17 I've said something to the effect before, but thank you for this. This mindset is what keeps me coming to this channel. Honestly, you guys are one of the few reaction channels that I watch regularly for this reason. I don't know many reactors who are so open to suggestions as you two despite having a more "casual" background with pop culture. As someone who is a fan of so many shows, movies, games, etc that aren't considered mainstream, words can't describe how grateful I am for you two not being dismissive of content just because it's not "familiar" enough. Not saying people need to like everything I do, but it gets annoying when I watch people see something like Xenoblade for instance and just write it off because of how it looks or it's relative obscurity among mainstream media.

JT

20:42 She's saying "Ikoku", sounds likes Ee-kawk when pronounced under a Japanese accent. It's the name of her attack (Ikoku Sovereignty) called out when she uses it.

JT

17:03 A whale shark, actually

JT

Favorite attack is just Luffy. Which Luffy, I’m not gonna say cuz spoilers. Seriously, you two have no idea how crazy this series gets and how the much the world and character count keeps getting bigger.

AlexThat200

The last character is Uta. She is an antagonist from one of the One Piece movies and is Shank’s daughter. She’s a musician. Her voice actor is a very popular Anime YouTuber called LeeandLie(Multiverse Monarch on Twitch). You can find Uta’s English versions of the songs on LeeandLie’s channel.

GrimmxLaw22

So, out of all the characters you didn’t recognize, you only met about maybe 8 characters that will be in the next live action. The rest are gonna be characters you’re not gonna see for years. Remember that this series has been going on for so long that there are over 1000 in both chapters and episodes. Especially with how far back the live action is compared to everything else. 2 things I wanna address that you two asked: 1. The big lady with the flaming hair didn’t say Mihawk’s name. She was the saying the name of her attack that I don’t remember. Most anime characters shout out their attacks. 2. The girl at the end is someone you’re never gonna see in Live Action because she was a movie character. The movie is called “One Piece: Film Red” and the character is “Uta”. One Piece movies are non-canon so they’re mostly for One Piece fans that want to see a spectacle. And Uta definitely left a mark on fans because she’s a singer and the one who sings her songs is a very young and talented Japanese girl called “Ado”. One of the most POPULAR singers in Japan.

AlexThat200

8:46 I assure you, there's no such thing as looking "too modern" or "too ancient" in the world of One Piece.

JT

Yeah, it's a little tougher being a fan of One Piece's dubbed content than it is for Dragon Ball's dubbed content. A lot of spin off/supplementary content for One Piece usually doesn't feature English voice work. This is likely because: 1. One Piece merchandise isn't as profitable as Dragon Ball merchandise, so the cost to localize it to that extent may not sound reasonable to publishers. Hell, this game hasn't even seen a western release at all. 2. Due to One Piece constantly being ongoing, the story content in the games may cover events that the dub hasn't reached. Dubbing a game w/o by giving Eng VAs context way into the future could lead to some sketchy results. Take Goku Black's voice when DB Xenoverse 2 came out. Sean Schemmel only knew he was an "Evil Goku". Black's identity as Zamasu hadn't been revealed yet, so he ended up making it way more gravelly than it needed to be.
