If people don't like the video we generally just leave the comment and ignore it, but if people are being rude and harassing then we have no problem just banning them to keep our community free of that kind of hate and vitriol 🙂

Before Cloud Retainer was really fleshed out, the one thing the fandom always remembered her for was embarrassing Ganyu with telling other people about her childhood. Because a master-student relationship might as well be a parent-child relationship in a majority of Asian media. They help raise and watch them grow. Their influence affecting child’s upbringing. Think like Jiraiya (Pervy-Sage) and Naruto.

I’m the one in charge of the current playlist they’re going through and while I wanted them to get all the Version 1 characters seen before Inazuma, that didn’t really work for them. They wanted to keep some sort of pacing instead of watching character quests back to back and would skip characters when they felt like it. So I made a compromise to make it at least 2 characters per main quest/event. And the characters they missed I can only show them when they become relevant again. Like in an event. Prime example being Eula before the 2nd Dragonspine event.

2024-09-24 22:03:05 +0000 UTCoh, this reminds me. Ganyu, Mona, Albedo, and Eula are the only story quests that came out before Inazuma that you haven't done yet! ik you guys are moving on to Inazuma next, but I think you'll really enjoy these quests so you should definitely check them out

2024-09-24 21:42:36 +0000 UTCWhen you two made that joke comment about Madam Ping having a “fling” with the stove god, that just made me really appreciate that you two don’t interact with the Genshin fandom. Or any Hoyoverse game fandom for that matter. Because if any hardcore fan ever heard you two say anything related to sex for any character, they would be livid. That’s kind of the thing with Gacha games is that they sometimes attract a very purist crowd that sees the characters a certain way, and if they see or hear something that goes against their ways, they’ll harass that very thing until they either: A. Get bored. B. Find a new target. Not even the developers were safe as there have been multiple times they or things they owned got attacked by rabid fans. Extremists can appear in any fandom, but considering how large Genshin’s player base is, even the smallest percentage can be hundreds to thousands of people. What you two do is pretty niche, so getting these people in your community is very low, but low does not mean not at all. Just a heads up in case you get someone like that in your comment sections. Or just plain haters of Genshin that demand you stop or just make fun of you two.

2024-09-24 18:54:51 +0000 UTCSo with everything being a little more dramatic than it needed to be, I would agree that it was probably the writers trying to spice things up with no action going on. But I could also see it as an Asian work culture thing, because if there’s one consistent about my race, it’s that they take can take their jobs more serious than it needs to be. Meaning they have specific standards for how they do things and if it doesn’t meet up to those standards, it eats at them. Not exactly “it has to be perfect”, but more “I can’t believe this happened in the first place” which in turn leads to some workers doing more work than necessary. Now about Xinyan. She’s a Rock N Roll guitar player in Liyue Harbor that wants to spread her music to the world. When she first started out, civilians were pretty intimidated by the way she dressed and from her fiery personality. But she soon gained a crowd with her music. The Millelith would sometimes be called to stop her performances due to the “rebellious” music she played, until some of them became her fans too and helped her avoid the authorities. Until they decided to just leave her be as long as no serious harm was done. And the reason she has a southern accent is because she’s pretty much supposed to be the urban girl, and well, localizing what’s urban in Asia versus what’s urban in America, they decided go with that. It makes her stand out, but doesn’t really mesh well with the design, for most players anyway. So due to her overall appearance and unfortunately her kit not being anything special, she’s not really a popular pick for players to use, at least compared to the other characters. But I’ve always had her on my team for more than half of the game, so I like her a lot.
