2024-09-24 20:02:46 +0000 UTCYou guys have inquired about different bending styles before; you've both seen alternate and sub type bending styles like Swamp bending and Sand bending, you've seen advanced fire bending techniques like Lightning Bending, and you've both seen the invention and birth of Metal Bending and Lightning Redirection by Toph and Iroh respectively. Unlike advanced forms like Lightning Generation there are extremely rare unique bending styles within the main 4 Bending Arts like Combustion Bending that you guys just saw a glimpse of, you have to be born with it in order to perform it instead of unlocking it via training like the Advanced Forms. As you guys progress the series and if you choose to watch the sequel: The Legend of Korra you will see more unique and specialized bending styles like Combustion Bending.

I don't remember if they said how his powers work on the show or if it was just in the wiki so I won't say anything revealing about him until you are done with the series. I also totally agree with Ken, it is really easy to think Azula is much older than she is. I was SUPER stunned when I found out she was only 14 lol.
