Fall Update (New Show Polls Coming)

Happy Fall!

So we will be wrapping up a few shows on Patreon this month. Fallout, ATLA and The Bad Batch will all be finished by the end of October.

The Legend of Vox Machina season 3 reactions will be coming soon. And Arcane Season 2 will be happening in November when that starts to come out on Netflix.

For our Star Wars community we will be checking out the first Clone Wars animated series before Rebels, but most likely won't get to Rebels until the new year as we will have a busy slate with two new shows this fall in addition to the show replacing ATLA and of course Dragon Ball Super.

In the next week or so we will have a poll for a New Show to replace ATLA. Please feel free to put suggestions in the comments. Right now the poll will consist of The Legend of Korra, Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood, Cowboy Bebop and Yu Yu Hakusho.

Dragon Ball Daima might also be added to our slate, but we are waiting to see about potential spoilers in that show and exactly when it takes place or if it even takes place in the same timeline.

For our gaming community. Genshin Impact and Destiny 2  journeys will still continue along with Fight Night Friday videos and our next game is most likely going to be Warhammer 40k Space Marine 2 as we wait to see how the new Dragon Ball game is before deciding between playing that or DBZ Kakarot.

We are also keeping an eye out for the reception to Yakuza Like a Dragon coming out later this month to see if that is yet another show we will be checking out.

RWBY will be ending this year as well, right around Christmas actually. So we will have a poll for a show to replace that around December, though there is still RWBY Chibi for us to check out and any other recommendations you all may have.

Thank you so much for your support on Patreon. Whether you are a long time subscriber, a new member, or an old member that is keeping tabs on what we are up to. Your support here helps us survive the ups and downs of YouTube. And we love all the comments about the shows and games you are passionate about that keeps us excited to continue creating content.

Oh I just saw from when this was so don't mind me but why the f*** did I got this Notification Mail today (Nov 6th) and not when it came out? (Oct 6th)

Coral

So I would suggest these Anime: A Certain Magical Index, That Time I got Reincarnated as Slime, Re Zero, Death Note, Fate/Zero, Monster, Black Lagoon and I would have more but this list would not end soon so I was mostly going with already suggested anime that I also know and think that there good as a start.

Coral

Yeah, That Time I got Reincarnated as a Slime and Tenchi Muyo, I would be up for it!

Coral

So wtf happened to Invincible being on the slate?

REDE

If you are thinking about a Dragonball Z game, then I would go with DBZ Kakarrot. It's a bit more friendly to non-hardcore gamers. Yes, the new game is getting great reviews, but Sparkling Zero is more of a fighting game. DBZ Kakarrot is a RPG geared towards the story.

Just watch the first 3 episodes of Vox Machina season 3 and I’m super hyped. Arcane season 2 is already looking to be GOATED. The Legend of Korra: a good show, but not as good as The Last Airbender. But it’s still good. FullMetal Alchemist Brotherhood: a great anime. Considered one of the best anime shows of all time. Cowboy Bebop: a great classic but doesn’t necessarily have an overall story until the later episodes. Yu Yu Hakusho: another great classic anime. It’s a battle shounen so there are some similarities to Dragonball Z, and it has one of, if not, the best tournament arcs in any anime. It has a very “90’s anime” feel so be prepared for that if you watch it. As for video games, I will always suggest you play the Mass Effect series. It’s one of the best video game series even though it’s over a decade old.

Jojos bizmare adventure or jjk

Anthony De la rosa

It definitely does have a great dub but anime fans always prefer Japanese no matter how good dub is. I recommend Attack on titan as well as it has a great unique story

Enzo

YES

Luminary_weeb

The dub is great, despite what others will tell you

Christopher Collier

Yes that show is for sure going to go on a poll at some point. We just are mainly focused on the anime that have good/mostly preferred English dub as we get more into the genre, and we weren't sure if AOT fit into that category. 🤔

Bethany and Ken

As far as action packed shows I highly recommend the tv show Citadel.

Aman Kaur

Oh as for anime recommendations I would think the Re:Zero would be a good one, since season three will soon come out and it will spike in relevance. Also its a good anime so there’s that!

Ash

For Dragon Ball games,as much as I hate to say it, DBZ Kakarot is probably the best choice. It’s more of a summary of the DBZ story and a bit of story. Won’t be spoiling much so you should be fine. But Sparkling Zero is much more fun since it has much more characters and the best part, it’s the what ifs. The games have always had what if and they are always fun to explore. In past game it had what ifs such as “What if Vegeta beat Goku in their first encounter” and “What if Cell absorbed Krillin instead of Android 13.” This new one has even better ones but I’ll keep all of them as a surprise. Sparking Zero is cover everything in the anime including the Tournament of Power and both movies so massive spoilers.

Ash

As far as anime recommendations I can whole heartily recommended these: Yu Yu Hakusho Hunter x Hunter Tenchi Muyo That Time I was Reincarnated as a Slime

Vance Roberts

Death Note is a must and its English dub is unmatched and also I would like to recommend My Hero Academia its really Cool and appeal to western audience since it highly inspired from comics like superman and etc.

Moha KR

Deathnote (English Dubbed) Attack on Titan (English Subbed) Smiling Friends

Vishawn_

Cowboy bebop Bleach Death note Demon slayer

nicolas nesmith

Yu Yu Hakusho is a classic and I highly recommend it.

Puns of War

I think it's best to wait a bit till starting Legend of Korra, its different to Avatar and I think giving it time to breathe instead of going straight into it is valid

Knightlight 1414

I’m just waiting until you get to the next Pokémon video. Poison type Pokémon will definitely get your interest.

AlexThat200

Looking forward to your Vox Machina S3 reactions, after I manage to get around to starting it myself. (c: Korra seems natural after just completing ATLA, but on the other hand I sort of feel like it benefits from having some time after watching the original to sort of.. let it breathe, I guess. Obviously as a sequel series it's going to be compared and constrasted, but I felt like my own enjoyment of Korra benefited from the fact that I wasn't watching it immediately after ATLA. FMA:B is a a great series, I'd be happy to see that one come through.

thanners

I would recommend watching Blue Bloods, a police drama tv show. It could change up your animated watching streak and replace it with something absolutely cool. But if your looking for an animated show, i recommend watching the live action ATLA.

Amanpreet Kaur

PLEASE react to The Dragon Prince! It is made by the same people as Avatar the Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra. They also made Voltron: Legendary Defender. But anyway, The Dragon Prince stars the voice actor who plays Sokka and it is coming out with its seventh season in December and I think you would really enjoy the show. My other suggestions are: - Voltron: Legendary Defender (8 seasons) - The How to Train Your Dragon series (Riders/Defenders of Berk and Race to the Edge) - Young Justice (4 seasons currently)

Lady RedShee

A good short anime before you delve into the bigger name ones, Samurai Champloo, about 24ish episodes and directed by the same guy who directed Cowboy Bebop. Also REALLY good hip hop music

Mr. Champloo

Legend of Korra, personally never liked FMA:B (constant crying by protag early on just got old fast), and yuyu hakkusho is good but dated.

James G

I’d recommend attack on Titan

NeonChaos

I feel like the next shows should be legend of Korra and Full Metal Alchemist. I may not care much for Legend of Korra, it is a good shift to transfer over from ATLA since it keeps its narrative tied even if it is in the future. The next should be Full Metal Alchemist, because Cowboy Bebop is a great show, but you can pick it up at any time rather than having a distict intent to know what is going to happen next with each episode serving as its own narrative. Yuyu Hakkusho and Attack on Titan is great, but does not beat the popularity that is Full Metal Alchemist. My recommendation, however is Trigun.

Vincent Ortiz

You should definitely do TLOK after ATLA but FMAB is also amazing

Luminary_weeb

black lagoon

jane doe

I think watching the writing masterpiece…Attack on Titan is only inevitable. I cannot recommend it enough.

Ir1della

Just an FYI in terms of RWBY after you finish : There’s an animatic they released that serves as a sort of epilogue to volume 9 (Volume 9 was originally meant to have 12 episodes but due to budget they had to cut it down to 10 and this animatic was originally going to be the 12th episode) It’s definitely worth reacting to as it’s basically an additional episode to the volume, even though it’s not fully animated. It’s on YouTube just make sure to watch the full version that’s about 15 minutes long as they showed a cut down version of it at RTX in 2023 and that one is on there as well. After that there’s a set of 4 shorts collectively called RWBY: Beyond that also take place after the volume . For new shows, there are a few western animated series I think you guys would like: Steven Universe, The Owl House, and Gravity Falls. Steven Universe takes a while to get going in terms of the overarching plot, but once it does it’s amazing. Plus it has a lot of great songs. Hope you guys have a fun Spooky Season.

SavvySpark

With rwby ending for now you could do my hero academia, the show is nearing its finale and it’s also a story of superpowered kids in school. And you’ve already reacted to some of the video game stuff for the show as well.

Dalton

Ooooh, those are some good poll choices... Hmm.. This is going to be difficult actually lol.

Multxverse

This might be obscure for this community, but I kind of want to see them watch The Grand Tour specials. They’re hilarious mini-movies about insane road trips and they just finished the last episode.

Jonathan Flock

some shows ill suggest are Fate/Zero Overlord Konosuba Kaiju No.8 Saga of Tanya the Evil

Triedge101

Yu Yu Hakusho was one of the first anime’s I’ve ever watched‼️

Elijah

Honestly, I'm all for The Legend of Korra to replace ATLA, it would be such a seamless transition in the Avatar story for you guys.

Tyler McDonald

RED VS BLUE from roosterteeth, was their first project that got better and better as time goes on

TunerSteve

Attack on Titan please

Enchiladas

Happy Fall Ken and Bethany!! I was honestly gonna say for you guys to watch Legend of Korra, but after just finishing Yu Yu Hakusho I definitely would prefer you guys to watch that one instead. It will HAVE you on the edge of your seats for sure!!

J Sal

Four anime suggestions: Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End Apothecary Diaries Violet Evergarden Monster

James Long

Fullmetal but with original dub!

Moonas

I'll cast my vote for RWBY chibi.

Bryan Forquer

In regard to which dragon ball game to play. It mostly depends on what kind of experience you’re going for. Kakarot is a complete telling of the story (mostly) with you seeing all the bits of them hanging out at the house waiting for the cell games, doing filler stuff like helping Tien or Yamcha in between story missions, but they don’t cover everything (Vegeta’s flash against cell isn’t in the game for example) and the voice acting I feel isn’t as strong as it could be. Sparking looks like it will be more episodic, with you jumping between missions in a menu that will take you through all the important parts of goku, vegeta, gohan, and piccolo’s story. (Plus a couple extra characters). Fun fact, the current VA for frieza, Daman mills, was voice director for this project, and personally made sure each voice actor was satisfied with the performance they gave. 🙂

Christopher Collier

I would say avoid Sparking Zero for now. I get the game tomorrow afternoon. Even if it is a retelling of Z to Super it could still potential spoilers in the menus or cutscenes before the game starts. As for Daima, there are whispers that it takes place between the ending of Z and Super, but we still don't know enough. Can't wait for OG DBZ, hopefully we can finish Super and the movies before December. By the way, Bardock vs. Omni Man came out, and personally I would avoid it, little spoilers here and there, but nothing too big, just want y'all to be surprised is all I'll say. And I would go for Kakarot, can't wait for y'all to experience the game.

Jason Rogue

Good show picks and I think u should do bleach to the list since you've essentially seen Naruto, dragon ball and one piece so out of all the big Bois bleach is all that's left

Sabian Velez

Many thanks for your great reactions. It's always a pleasure to watch 😊

Christian Gundersen

Legend of Korra would probably be the most logical follow up to ATLA, but I’m kind of hoping for Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood. It’s not everyday you get to see someone watch a masterpiece like FMAB completely blind.

Kami_Psy

I believe someone’s asked about this before, so forgive me. But Attack on Titan is a great show that I think you two would love. :)
