2024-10-13 16:42:53 +0000 UTCI feel that Zuko did have to learn on his own. Iroh was just there to guide him. I say this because Zuko did not fully understand some of the wisdom Iroh was giving to him. A lot of Zuko's self-reflection came when he was on his own, like in Book 2, and after he returned to the fire nation, he realized that what he thought he wanted wasn't really what he wanted. Yes, Iroh had some influence, but Zuko had to learn this on his own terms.

It reminds me of when you guys were watching the One Piece live action earlier and how frustrated you guys were to see Mihawk defeat Zoro. Like yeah Mihawk almost killed one of our favorite characters, but Mihawk is such an enjoyable character that it's hard to hate him for that
