2024-10-15 02:55:18 +0000 UTCCombustion man uses a unique form of fire bending, and that 3rd eye is essential for it (they dont really explain it well IIRC) ,so when he got hit there, it caused his "explosion" to detonate early, thus damaging himself. Also, wood cant be bent, mainly because it lacks any of the 4 elements. In a earlier episode, the Swamp Benders were able to bend trees and plants, because they are essentially Water bending, with a specialization in bending water in plants. Its not as unique as Combustion man, as he was likely born with that ability.

I know it's silly, but would be a fun way to confuse everybody. They're all cool with each other, but personalities will always clash, especially since these are teenagers. "Boss Bison" needs a shirt.
