2024-10-23 11:13:17 +0000 UTCAnother favourite episode of mine, showcasing the unique abilities of some of the U11 fighters and the Caulifla/Kale showdown with U11. Kales seamless transition from SSJ to LSSJ was just the cherry on the top. In regards to Goku letting Kale and Caulifla go, I’d like to think that not only does he want to fight them when they’re stronger but I think there is an unspoken truce between U6 and U7.

Funnily enough she's the exact opposite of the Broly we know, as he can go Super Saiyan then transform to the Legendary Super Saiyan. With Kale she jumped straight to Legendary Super Saiyan now is able to go Super Saiyan.

So, I'd say thay form she took is just ordinary Super Saiyan, which I like to call Legendary Super Saiyan Controlled. I wouldn't say Super Saiyan 2 as there are no lightning effects while she's in that form.

Though, if you really want an "in universe" explanation, it would be that techniques charging up are supposed to be at light speed (if not faster). It's just slowed down so the viewer can see what happened.

Not in an “oh thank god it’s over” way but I genuinely think the dual beam blast and the Caulifla/Kale exchange is pretty cool. Good thing the next episode is the greatest, most praised, respected, beloved, and objectively revered Dragon Ball episode of all time.

2024-10-22 19:00:26 +0000 UTCKale’s newfound transformation further sets it apart from Broly’s Legendary Super Saiyan. Names given to it seem to have mixed ideas about what it’s supposed to be. The anime implies it’s a controlled version of Super Saiyan Berserk, but some video games just refer to it as Kale’s version of Super Saiyan or Super Saiyan 2. I’m a fan of the former idea, personally.
