2024-10-24 05:41:24 +0000 UTCI actually find it quite fitting that you reacted to this now, since this episode ramps up the horror aspect with Cyn. It's actually the first show that has ever made me want to buy merch from it (I got the Doll keychain, it's very well done and even has an Absolute Solver symbol on it). What I really love about this show is that it's not just well done in a lot of things (the animation, the music, the voice acting and everything), but the story also actually feels quite original and not borrowing on too many known tropes : sure, a robot uprising from a corrupted AI that destroys the human race has already been done before, but never in that way. Cyn's powers are quite unique, and the whole wearing Tessa's skin thing in such a graphic way gives a really creepy vibe that feels right for this story. Also fun fact : the soundtrack has 3 versions of the song played during the fight between N, V, Uzi and Cyn. The song is called "BITE ME" and had its pitch altered to make it sound like it's a nightcore song, the other 2 versions are one with the normal pitch, and the second one is an actual nightcore version, with the speed altered as well. Most of the music tracks for the show have either funny names, or names based on a line said in the scene they're taken from. You'll see it with Digital Circus, but Glitch have really learned a lot from the work they did on Murder Drones in terms of animation and quality, and it shows. Speaking of which, I saw a VOD on Vixen's channel (the voice of Gangle in Digital Circus) of most of the VAs playing a Visual Novel based on the first episode but with a couple alternate endings, and it's amazing. The VOD is quite long (about 2 hours and a half), so I recommend check it out on your own in your spare time, but it's a lot of fun to see them play their own characters and have some great chemistry between each other.

2024-10-23 17:17:31 +0000 UTCSeeing credits of "the SMG4 Team" and the "SMG4 Community" at the end of things like this and The Amazing Digital Circus still fucking gets me. As someone who used to watch SMG4's content as a small child back in the early 2010s, I never would've thought the same guy making brain dead Mario 64 skits would become co-founder and producer for something like Glitch Productions. Best part is he's still making vids with the same level of stupid (albeit with more production value) on his own channel to this day. The careers of Internet content creators are something else, I swear.

2024-10-23 16:37:54 +0000 UTCSo, while this is the end of Murder Drones, the description and other info has suggested that this won't be the last we see of Uzi and N. As to what medium it'll be in or when that will be remains to be seen.

2024-10-23 16:27:55 +0000 UTCThe Discord and YT sides of the community may have pointed this out, but in case not, episode 3 of The Amazing Digital Circus also came out a couple weeks ago.
