Someone mentioned it but since Ghostface whole thing is “it can be anyone you know” this Ghostface could be anyone from the MK universe, which is why they are able to stack up against the rooster. The trailer showed Ghostface using some of the cast moves, like Scorpion’s flame kick and Kano’s ball attack. This is a great way to incorporate Ghostface to MK. I think Dead By Daylight did something similar, since they only have permission to use the Ghostface outfits and not the characters, so their Ghostface is an original character as well. Speaking of DBD, in the MK trailer we see Ghostface sporting a red mask called”Devil Ghostface” which was designed originally for DBD so we have a mini DBD reference in MK. Nice!
