I'm excited for you guys to check out Korra. It has its valid criticisms, especially compared to how amazing the original was, but there's some things I like about Korra more than the original.

2024-11-19 11:27:48 +0000 UTCFrom someone who watched the first episode of ATLA when it first aired up until Sozin’s Comet that summer, I never liked Korra (show and character). She was bitchy and annoying so I only watched a couple episodes, maybe 10 at most. Hopefully this makes it more enjoyable

2024-11-18 20:00:57 +0000 UTCI think for korra, a lot of people hated the show cuz korra is much less likable compared to aang. She is hot headed, constantly fell into temper, and revert to her former poor habits again and again, also probably the romance in the show…..but I personally find the antagonist of each season had more charm compared to the fire lord. Their ideology extends more than just world conquest. And the philosophical undertones is deeper and more mature compared to the last air bender, I would even say the antagonists are the charm of the show. If you watch the show character by character, you will probably hate it, but if you watch it as a whole, I think you will appreciate the journey. Ps. Zuko’s mom, and azula’s story post the last air bender was in comics.

2024-11-18 17:55:07 +0000 UTCAang's son is Tenzin, sorta like Tension (but not, and also not Tien Shinhan from DBZ) . You can remember because he tends to be Tense (from memory, haven't watched Korra nearly as much as ATLA)
