Also, it’s unusual (maybe unheard of) to hear someone say Goku is their crush lol. Especially, since I usually hear it being Vegeta seeing as how he is the “bad boy” type. But you must like the “good boy” type to hate Vegeta so long lol. It’s not until he really starts to really become a “good” guy, too.

But right when I started typing I realized that was Sparking Zero lol. I was like, “they beat him too fast to hear it.” The other person took a long time to finally beat him in Zero. I played Kakarot recently, but I don’t remember if it was brought up. I probably beat him fast, too, with all the leveling up I was doing.

2024-11-18 17:10:19 +0000 UTCI remember watching this episode with my older brothers & sisters hating Vegeta so so much lol I actually never liked Vegeta until the cell end of the cell saga. That's when i became a Vegeta fan, even though Goku is my number one crush. Speaking of crush in the anime it's so brutal how Ape Vegeta tortures Goku. I was literally depressed after seeing Goku scream like that as a kid. So sad that my mom had to take my out to get ice cream lmao. So lame. I'm not sure if the game touches on it but in the anime/manga this is the time where Goku realizes he killed his grandpa in this form. A really emotional moment for Goku.

Throughout OGDB, Goku's friends never had the heart to tell him he could transform into a Great Ape. Upon witnessing Vegeta's transformation he finally pieces together that he was capable of doing the same as a child, and laments that he must have been the monster that crushed his Grandpa Gohan to death.

Let's you appreciate DBZA more as a parody, and gives you a better picture of why not everyone in the DB fandom isn't nearly as in love with him.

2024-11-17 22:43:12 +0000 UTCAs someone who just played this not long after Sparking Zero, let me tell you the whiplash from fighting Great Ape Vegeta in Kakarot is crazy 😆. Polar opposites in terms of difficulty. I couldn't believe it ended so fast!

Piccolo visibly stumbling as he runs to Gohan, the impact of Nappa's blast, and the lighting of the explosion's aftermath make it look way more dramatic than the original. Good work CyberConnect2

2024-11-17 22:22:09 +0000 UTC46:26 Gotta say I'm surprised they kept this in. DBZ Kakarot takes out a lot of the blood and more graphic moments to maintain it's age rating. Not as bloody as the original, but I'm glad they kept it in. Not bc I hate Tien (far from it) but it shows just how screwed the Z Warriors were against the Saiyans.

2024-11-17 22:06:20 +0000 UTCWell done against the Vegeta fight. I remember struggling with that fight. If I could give some gamer advice: try to learn how to charge up your ki. It will help with using the super attacks and better melee damage.
