Often people say “what if X used this thing.” The alternate scenarios shows us how it would affect the battle and wether or not it would have an impact in the overall result. Not sure if we can expect them in the next few battles since the previous two didn’t.

Mans carried Eggman for the most part, fighting Bowser multiple times, recovering Infinite’s gem, etc. He still lost but still, he showed why he’s Eggman’s MVP. This fight was incredible. Death Battle don’t often do army battles just because of how much research is needed. The armies often have individual characters that need research of their own. Characters like Bowser Jr., Infinite, Kamek, and Metal Sonic, are heavy hitters and often have their own matchups, such as Metal Sonic vs Zero as you guys saw already. Let’s not expect another army battle for a good while.

I don't even particularly like Sonic stuff (and I'm mostly tepid on Mario), but both sides were super cool and I kinda stopped caring who would win and was just cheering for both lol.

This was one that I had always wanted them to do ever since I was a kid, because it just made too much sense. Guess it took so long because doing it justice meant a lot of resources needed to be behind it. They did have two sponsorships on this one after all. This is what I used to think Dr Eggman vs Dr. Wily used to look like all those years ago.
