2024-11-21 17:46:17 +0000 UTC1:29:01 Alright, so I just watched it for the first time myself, and I can't say I agree. To me this did feel rather superfluous. 3's ending to me already felt like it already did a good job at telling the story of a master passing his skills to a successor by teaching others kung fu and chi. I also found it pretty anticlimactic to have another film where Po isn't quite sure of what a Dragon Warrior should be spiritually, and making it so that his title as the Dragon Warrior means absolutely nothing. To each their own though.

I'm pretty confident that 2 is typically considered to be the best movie of the series, while 4 has been getting dunked on left and right. Been putting off watching this one myself bc I've heard nothing but mid to bad things about it, and the first three are so nostalgic to me. Don't usually mind reviews when considering what I'm gonna watch/play, but it gets to a certain extent where I gotta question what happened.
