2024-11-27 00:31:17 +0000 UTCI think for the purpose of continuity in the ToP, we probably just have to assume that events aren't happening in real time, in the sequence we're showing. So rather than Vegeta and Cappa standing staring at each other for fifteen minutes, the events with Kale powering up and so on where probably happening at the same time they were speaking. And the two scenes converge at the same time they both concluded. There is youtube video somewhere which does show the ToP if it really took 45 minutes, and tries to align all the events so that they can be seen happening at the same time, but it contains mega-spoilers, and they still have to speed up some of the dialogue scenes to about 2x to make it fit.
