2024-11-30 06:11:06 +0000 UTCDamn yeah seeing Zavala right next to Amanda's memorial around the time Lance Reddicks death was extremely jarring The timing on that release was felt like a cosmic coincidence . I should also point out as well the very last thing Zavala says next season Was apparently the very last line of dialogue Lance recorded before he passed away.

2024-11-29 03:04:29 +0000 UTCI remember the threshers that season. They were an absolute menace to deal with on those weekly missions especially if you were playing on legend. I can't tell you how many times those things shredded me and my teammates before bungie fixed them

2024-11-29 00:07:42 +0000 UTCYeah, Amanda's death caught everyone off guard and it hurt. We didn't know what happened to her after the opening battle of Lightfall. So for us to get her back safely only to have her sacrifice herself later in the season hurt a lot. I was in complete denial until we arrived at the farm with Zavala over her grave reciting the guardian tenents and that's when the tears started rolling. I remember when we first got to see more of her in the Taken King so losing her here hurt a lot because it felt like losing Cayde all over again since those two were very close in the lore and I grew up with both of them. Lance Reddick's death also caught everyone off guard and I participated in an in game ceremony where players gathered around Zavala and did emotes that honored him in a way. Just like Ken said, really twisted the knife this season as we experienced loss in the game and in real life. 2024-11-28 22:10:25 +0000 UTCCongrats on completing season of defiance, yeah this season was a gut wrench. Am glad you guys watch this season in one go. A few notes. Note 1: We have met Devrim Kay he helped us in the EDZ D2 vanilla campaign (red war). He's one of the caretakers of Hawthorne. Note 2: Everyone at the time has managed to change their account names quite a bit. There are countless names that people use (some that are very funny) Note 3: during this season Bungie accidentally buffed thresher (Cabal ships) damaged output so they were killing guardians much faster than intended Note 4: The week when Amanda sacrificed herself was the same week Lance Reddick died(as shown in the video) when the news was released about his passing everyone on d2 went to his place in the tower and made a tribute to him. Many other game communities paid tribute to Lance as well. One of the last few things that Lance did was him playing destiny 2. This is not his last recording for Commander Zavala his final voice lines was during Season of the deep. Note 5: Don't know if you noticed but on Zavala's shoulder pad there was a white piece of fabric. When Amanda died the white fabric was replaced with a red one. Most people speculate that was one of Amanda's scarfs. 3 more seasons until the final shape. Quick question are you guys going to play the final shape or try to find a video? None of the videos that I've looked have the raid for it. Hope you guys are excited for catching up with the current story.
