I'm not sure if the next two episodes are even understandable without knowing the source material. I haven't seen any reactors that have only seen the abridged version know what is going on in 10.

Satan is voiced by Zach Hadel, creator of Smiling Friends. His iconic nasal goblin voice is hard to miss once you know it. Love him, also I wholeheartedly recommend Smiling Friends.

I feel like some of the context gets lost when watching the abridged version if you haven’t seen the source material first. The reason Alucard gets so pissed when Anderson stabs himself with the nail is because he sees Anderson making the same mistake that he did in giving up his humanity to become that thorn creature. When he tries to beat Alucard. Alucard loathes himself, he looks at himself as a coward who couldn’t bear a mortal life. Someone mentioned that this could be why he allows his enemies to obliterate him before he counters, because he feels he deserves it. Not sure about that.. Alucard admires and greatly respects humans who have the strength to face him. This is why he respects Anderson, and also why he is loyal to Integra and to the Hellsing org. He believes the Hellsing family is necessary to keep “balance” so to speak.

Aww, I didn't realize you'd already been spoiled about the song. Oh well, still glad you enjoyed it, regardless. This is the episode that dethroned episode 5 as my favorite, at least until the finale. I have no other notes. It's just so good and I'm glad yall enjoyed it.
