Okay so we were kinda close in our guesses. Thanks for the clarification 🙂

Bethany and Ken

FF7 remake has already changed a bunch from the original and from what I've ready they don't plan on stopping anytime soon. The abridged won't spoil much from remake's story.

As for the Walter thing I am fairly sure that Walter met Alucard back in the 40’s when Alucard was taking on the form of a woman at the time. Walter fell in love with Alucard back then during their time hunting Nazi’s and other vampires back then but he was a vampire hunter and Alucard was the biggest baddest vampire and so he was duty bound to eventually kill Alucard at all costs no matter his feelings. At least that’s what I got from it

Stuff1235

It can be enjoyed by new or old fans, I played it as a new fan and thoroughly enjoyed it

Knightlight 1414

Except FF7 RE is a sequel that relies on knowledge of the original, so it's doesn't matter if it spoils the original.

CrimsonWarrior55

Pretty sure Ken and Beth want to play FF7 RE tho so surely it's best they don't watch it

Knightlight 1414

Yeah. They run through the whole thing, and much like DBZA and HUA, they keep the story basically the same.

CrimsonWarrior55

Does it have spoilers for the game?

Knightlight 1414

It is an official one. It’s a short one too, like 12 episodes or so

Joyner Lucas

Will be on our poll list 🙂

Bethany and Ken

That's an official anime, right? We can add it to our request list. 🙂

Bethany and Ken

That's some crazy high level writing there 😅

Bethany and Ken

Thanks a lot for helping breaking it down for us. 🙂

Bethany and Ken

Thanks for recommendation on Goblin Slayer. Will add it to our poll. And SAO seems to be frontrunner but we will see. Its cool that they are still making episodes so we can keep up with them like we do with Helluva Boss and what not 😀

Bethany and Ken

Thanks so much for these explanations! 😀

Bethany and Ken

😂 We have been guilty many times of mistaking boys for girls in anime that we've checked out 🤗

Bethany and Ken

Nope. Gonna do a poll on it. 😅

Bethany and Ken

Hmm. That makes more sense than what we came up with 😂

Bethany and Ken

The therapy session was honestly one of the best parts. So damn good 🤩

Bethany and Ken

Think we missed it 🤗

Bethany and Ken

I second this one. It is a great show that rides the line between dark and humorous. Great for reactions too with how it escalates and twists.

Beowolf Chow

Dunno what abridged you're doing next but I'd like to suggest Goblin Slayer abridged by Grimmjack at some point

Zen Reacts

Yeah in fact he might be even more immortal than before now

Zen Reacts

My vote for the next abridged series is definitely TFS' Final Fantasy VII Machinabridged. Not just because I love it, but also to finish off the three series they did before moving on to a new creator.

CrimsonWarrior55

love the reaction guys! can u please look into doing Saga of Tanya the Evil

Joyner Lucas

Nice! That's probably my favorite outside of teamfourstar abridged series.

To explain Schrodinger's powers; He exists as long as he can maintain his sense of self. When Alucard ate him Schrodinger could not longer do that amongst the millions of other souls within Alucard, and this makes him cease to exist until Alucard purges these souls within himself. So now Alucard can't really have multiple lives anymore, but Schrodinger was also totally immortal since he can return to life when unobserved, so Alucard is fine without them.

Tsunami Wave

So there is really two parts to the explanation about the part toward the end. The first is that Schrödinger is essentially omnipresent as long as he remains unobserved and can recognize his own existence. The second part has to do with vampires and “familiars”, basically Schrödinger offered his blood to Alucard willingly, so Alucard was able to assimilate the cat boys power into his being. However, if you recall, he was also absorbing millions of other souls at the same time. Schrödinger, and therefore Alucard, we’re no longer able to distinguish his soul among the millions of others and therefore they cease to exist. Not really “die”, but more paradox’ed out of existence. It had a 50/50 chance of either defeating Alucard or immediately making him pretty much invincible. That is what the talk of the coin flip was about. It’s pretty crazy to think that basically everything that happened in the story was planned by The Major to have Alucard in that situation at that moment. Also the main story doesn’t go too deeply into it, but basically the Major had the same opportunity as Alucard did to become a vampire when he was critically wounded in WW2 but refused because his own willpower and ‘selfishness’ in wanting to stay human. Then “Herr Dokter” fixed him up with cybernetics. The Doctor was also using the bones of Mina Harker (from the original Bram Stoker novel) to create all the fake vampires and their vampire army.

Runner up for now is SAO

If you're looking for Abridged shows to check out, the most popular choice amongst YouTube would be Sword Art Online Abridged by SomethingWittyEntertainment. They've become more or less the successors to TeamFourStar, although their style does tend to deviate from the source material much further than TeamFourStar does; often times though for the better (In my own personal opinion). SAO Abridged is still ongoing and receives about 1-2 episodes a year as they tend to take a-lot of care, thought, and effort into the writing, editting, and performance of the abridged series. Another choice that might be worth looking into, as it recently completed it's run on Christmas last year would be Goblin Slayer Abridged by Grimmjack. Either way, I look forward to watching you react to whatever you so choose in the future!

Why was the major a cyborg? Ya non of us really knows, and thats the joke point tfs is making about Integra’s obsession, they never really bothered to explain other than “self preservation”

So for Walter and Alucard's relationship, Walter worked with Alucard when he was 14 years old against the Nazis. Alucard took the form of a young girl to spite the Nazis that they were defeated by a little girl. Walter had respect and an inferiority complex against Alucard and pretty much everything he did, the betrayal, the artificial vampire modification to his body that caused him to regress in age, and the sacrifice of countless lives was all so he could fight Alucard to the death and win. Was it worth it? No. What did it cost? Everything. As for the Major being a Cyborg, in the 1940s during WWII his left side was blown off in a battle against Walter and girl Alucard. He heard voices telling him to drink blood and become a vampire. He refused because of his hatred of Alucard. Although he was a human who looked like a monster, Alucard was a monster who looked like a human, and he wanted nothing to be like him. So he had his body modified with cybernetics to prolong his life and begin preparations for starting WWIII and revenge against Alucard.

Pyrodragon3993

also with the Alucard/Walter thing they hinted at it in a previous episode. During WW2 Walter and Alucard hunted vampires together. In the anime Alucard's young design at the time looks like a girl (because anime) so the Abridged made the joke that he actually was a girl at the time, and the reason Walter betrayed them is cause of his repressed need to fuck Alucard.

George Fardon

I wonder if they've chosen the next abridged series yet.

Skyler Van

from what i understand it's because the whole thing with Schrodinger's cat is the uncertainty as to whether it's alive or dead, and as such when the cat was consumed by alucard it kinda 'infected' him with uncertainty

A lot of fun little details in this one. 1. The music that plays when Alucard is "taking a census" and drinking all the blood in London was made in-house and is an epic, orchestral version of the "Party Party Party" song that was used for the intro for several episodes. 2. Easy to miss, but Ze Major, when talking about finding things in attics, says, "Anne Frankly, I'm offended by the insinuation." 3. The entire "therapy session" was new, animated by some of TFS's crew. 4. The credits music is a cover of a song called Shine, sung by Ze Major (and Vegeta, Mr. Piccolo, Krillin, etc.), Nick Landis. 5. Two great callbacks. "Getting angry about books made for horny Teenage girls" is a call back to how they opened on a Twilight Joke in the first episode. The question about One Piece ending is a call back because, initially, this series was to be premiering at Youmacon 2010 and was hidden under a thin veil as if it were going to be One Piece Abridged, hence the misdirecr at the start of episode 1. Also funny that One Piece is STILL going. Also, my vote for abridged would be FF7 Machinabridged, round out the TFS trilogy.

DementisXYZ

aww no reaction to the "I want to make reaction videos" piece? XD
