2023-06-20 23:49:30 +0000 UTCI don't know how far you are in this current batch of recording but I mentioned a while ago about a unique opportunity to provide a comparison that is rarely explored. That is a look at the old DBZ having watched Kai first. This fight coming up is the perfect segment to do it on. It encompasses all the major elements that where changed between Kai and the original american release, dialogue, music and voice acting. I for one would be very interested to hear your thoughts on it and I would like to think other DBZ fans would be as well.

2023-06-20 23:43:19 +0000 UTCYeah, most of the characters in Abridged are just exaggerated versions of their canon counterparts. A notable exception being Mr Satan, who isn't even exaggerated; he's literally the same character. Yeah, Piccolo kind of got fodderized in the Buu saga. He peaked in his fight against 17. In Z, anyway. Don't really wanna say anymore than that at this point :)
