2023-06-25 19:53:36 +0000 UTCi always did find it strange how Videl was so surprised however i think it was more of that she didnt realize just how trained Goten was, plus she'd never met or seen Trunks before either. So i figured it was because of that, also she hasn't figured out WHO exactly they all are yet ;) Edit: considering you didnt watch DBZ, id say that TFS honestly did a good job concerning their versions of the characters (honestly all of them were pretty spot on except for a few lol) so it makes sense that the characters you guys are familiar with are more or less the same in the actual show
