2023-07-31 20:36:37 +0000 UTCIn original Z when Vegeta is talking about Gohan he actually does say Sorry to him, it’s actually the 2nd time in the entire show he apologizes to someone, the first time was also to Gohan. Not sure why but I like the fact that both times he’s ever apologized, it’s only been to his rivals son 😮💨

2023-07-25 23:32:23 +0000 UTCI never saw it as him getting injured since it wasn’t a person that did it to him. He crumbled as a statue, and then, changed back afterwards. I feel like if he was getting beat down over time, and then, this was inflicted upon him in a weaker state, then he’d be finished or just worse off since regenerating uses up energy.

2023-07-25 23:20:18 +0000 UTCThe regenerative ability to the Namekians seems to scale with their power. We saw Namekians killed by Frieza's men who suffered far less severe injuries than that. Piccolo's basically the strongest Namekian ever, so his regenerative abilities are ridiculous at this point. Kind of like Cell (who got his regenerative abilities from Piccolo) could regenerate so long as a single cell remained. Cell's much more powerful than Piccolo (at least Piccolo as he is right now), but Piccolo's abilities might reach that level eventually. Piccolo's regeneration has scaled up a lot as he's gotten stronger, as we've seen him suffer near fatal (and even fatal) injury during the series that he would by all rights be able to survive now. The damage Nappa did to him was nothing compared to getting smashed to pieces.
