2023-08-08 16:29:40 +0000 UTCAs someone said with spoilers. Most of these aren't canon but a few are. A little history for the characters you don't know. Nitara, she was in the 2021 MK movie. She fights Kung Lao. Here she's a vampire who's homeworld, like many others, were fused with Outworld. She doesn't have much backstory, only that she's a vampire and is trying to separate her homeland from Outworld. Li-Mei as you possibly now know was captured along with her people and forced to serve Shang Tsung. She then attacks Kano and is told that if she wins the tournament, she and her people will be freed. If I remember correctly, Shujinko actually trained her (Shujinko is the main protagonist of Deception, which is the sequel to Deadly Alliance). As someone mentioned, her ending is partially canon. She does win the tournament and does get imprisoned in one of the warriors, but Bo' Rai Cho does save her, but part of the warrior was bound to her. So she's not 100%. Moloch and Drahmin. Moloch is the big brute with 3 eyes, holding an iron ball. He and Drahmin were tasked with protecting Quan Chi from Scorpion in exchange Quan Chi would also have them join him if he ever escaped the Netherrealm. Quan Chi however didn't hold his end and left without them. They then joined Shang Tsung as Shang Tsung would use them if Quan Chi ever betrayed him. Also the ending of Scorpion bring ripped apart by the Soulnado is also canon as that event helps transform Scorpion in Deception. Mavado, he's the right hand man in the Red Dragon clan, who's much older than the Black Dragon and were a very kept secret. He uses grappling hooks and Kabal's hookswords (which are Kabal's, he took them when he supposedly killed him). He's an intelligent fighter and uses his intelligence to win battles, he's also very cruel. Hsu Hao, the most forgotten and useless character in MK history. I honestly don't know his history as I don't care for him.
