I'm confused by how many people are misrepresenting this. She is and always was a noob. In fact iirc her not knowing how to eat is a canon event in the LN that isn't covered in the og show. This is the first time she's ever interacted with a video game (it's her brother's, which she was just checking out on a whim when all this went down), of course she'd be the noob of all noobs. If anything the OG did a bad job representing her dilemma and the abridged fixed it.

2023-08-12 15:08:02 +0000 UTCIn the original she's still a noob at this point too, it's just far more exaggerated in SAO:A. As for Kirito, he definitely isn't the same - he's got his whole, "solo player," thing going on, but he's nowhere near as arrogant and isn't a dick to everybody.
