We did forget that 🤗. So thanks for reminding us about that. It does help explain some of her actions. However, That doesn't affect her facial expressions which still come across as meek to us. Like she is scared.

2023-09-01 17:10:07 +0000 UTCI think you both are forgetting that cinders throat was badly injured by rubys silver eyes attack and the end of season 3 and thats why shes not speaking out loud, not because shes being meek

2023-08-25 20:58:23 +0000 UTCI think for what it's worth, they're both right. Blake's past justifies her feelings. She's scared and tired of seeing the people she loves get hurt or worse, so she runs away like a cat, which is befitting of her character. The problem is she hates herself for doing this, even down to her semblance. She doesn't WANT to be alone or push anyone away but she feels like she has to. But Sun is also right, her pushing them away after everything they've been through and everything that's happened is definitely hurting them. Just look at Yang, she was heartbroken knowing that Blake ran, didn't care about the reason either.

2023-08-20 16:16:07 +0000 UTCI think you are right. As long as the choice of Blake is indeed a rational one, not clouded by emotions, because all emotions come and go. If Blake would've insisted on "No, I really need you to leave." "You really shouldn't be here." "I want to do this on my own." while she is not borderline crying. But what does she say/do when she calms down. She is happy, she is thankful that he is there. Because she knows deep down that she doesn't want to be alone, like she said herself, even while being emotional. But at that moment Blake is scared that people she cares about are getting hurt because of her. She blames herself for the choices other people make. As much it is her choice to push Sun away, Sun's choice is to fight for her. But if he gets hurt in the progress it was his fault for, to quote you " invading Blake's privacy and sticking his nose in her business", and Blake has every right to say: "Well your fault for following me after I told you to leave." But that's not what she does. She takes the validity of his choice, to have followed her because he cares about her, away by saying: "You did that because I left and now you got hurt because of me." A bit problematic is: "[...] if she decides to push people away, then it's her choice and Sun needs to accept that." As soon as two parties are involved in decision making it is always best to find common ground and not insist that the other party just "has to accept it". Because, what about Suns choice to follow her, to fight for her, to protect her. That is, after all Suns decision to make, if he has to accept her decisions why doesn't she have to accept what he does with his time, where he decides to go, whose enemies he decide to fight. Even if not wanted by Blake (which isn't even true in if you consider the way she acts around Sun in situations when there isn't someone getting stabbed in the shoulder or getting their arm cut off). Ah man I hate doing those long paragraphs it's always so taxing. But I just have to put my two cents in sometimes. And that's my decision. You just have to accept that. ;) Anyways, great episode. Great reactions.

2023-08-20 03:02:13 +0000 UTCI mean I don't think that's entirely unfair. Gaslighting is a bit much tho. He is his own person as well, and a decent chunk of your argument does not treat him as such. It is her choice yes, and it is also his choice to push back. Not his business? That's a bit insular. Making decisions while under (reasonable) pressure from others is normal and healthy. To make choices we need to be able to do so while others are doing the same, not only when we're free of their presence. There's absolutely room to say he overstepped, that is one of his flaws. Just as one of Blake's is cutting people out. Both result in denying other people their choices.

2023-08-20 01:48:42 +0000 UTCI know people are probably gonna hate me for saying this, but I have to disagree with Sun completely. I understand why Blake feels the way she does, and I feel she is justified. I feel like Sun was gaslighting Blake and trying to take away any validation of Blake's feelings. Just because Sun disagrees with Blake, it doesn't mean that she's automatically wrong. Because at the end of the day it is still Blake's choice, and if she decides to push people away, then it's her choice and Sun needs to accept that. Blake doesn't owe Sun anything to begin with, and Sun isn't entitled to anything from Blake. Also, Sun was constantly invading Blake's privacy and sticking his nose in her business when it doesn't belong. Plus he was treating Blake like she's some damsel in distress that always needs saving. But, this is just my opinion.

2023-08-20 00:50:19 +0000 UTCI think Nora is less traumatized because Ren lost his whole family that night but Nora gained Ren.

2023-08-20 00:16:09 +0000 UTCSo, the Grimm horseman that Ren is so terrified of is based on a Nuckalevee from mythology (Norse, I think?) I believe it was Miles Luna (the VA for Jaune and the head writer) who said it was his favorite Grimm they created for this Volume.
