I mean...it's not like Mortal Kombat has ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever recylded character designs before, right? :) .... I mean....right?

And that’s a good thought , wondering how to feel about Shang Tsung, since this version of him has yet to commit any major crimes. It could even be a bit unfair, since Liu Kang could have jeopardized him for the start to prevent him for getting power without seeing how this version of him could have turned out. This action could be the reason why Shang Tsung will turn evil later in the story.
