Like Ceenon said Zavala has just been recast and is going to be played by Keith David, but thats not for a long time from where you guys are at so you will still get to experience Lance’s phenomenal performance as Zavala. You might recognize Keith David as the Arbiter from Halo, Spawn from MK, and leader of the Saints in Saints Row 1, Julius Little. Great actor and we are all very excited to see how he does in this role. Also wanted to add that I forget if you guys do this you should watch the raid for this expansion called the Last Wish as well! The actual end to the expansion was carried out in that raid, as is the case with multiple expansions going forward, Raids are very important story wise. If not the raid itself the Raid completion Cutscene would work as it basically tells you what happened and why it was important, just so you guys aren’t confused what happened with all that stuff at the end there about the creature in the dreaming city and what manipulated Uldren. Great reaction either way, now we get to see the Seasonal stories!

2023-08-31 08:37:33 +0000 UTCSo with Banshee-44, it's important to remember that all Exo's numbers are the times they've been reset to stave off their minds rejecting their bodies (rejection essentially being brain death). Cayde was reset 6 times. Ideally, an exo would never go past 20 resets, because the efficiency of the resets are believed to heavily diminish by then. Banshee has severe memory issues, seemingly as a result of his 44 resets. Hence, why he pauses after giving you the Ace of Spades, and wonders where Cayde ran off to. :( The will'o'wisp, Toland, is a former Warlock, and part of the fireteam that went down into the pit with Eris. He intentionally veered off from the others, allowing Oryx's daughters to sing their Deathsong and unmake his physical form so that he could learn more about Hive magic and the Ascendant realm. Zavala actually is being recast! His new VA is Keith David, who I think is a totally acceptable successor to Lance Reddick in this role.

2023-08-26 21:37:33 +0000 UTCAnother great reaction! Cannot wait for your reaction to the next part, the post campaign story got really juicy in Forsaken. The future of Zavala was really in question until recently. Fans didn’t really want Zavala to be recast, but Bungie recently announced that Kieth David (you might recognise him as Spawn in Mortal Kombat) will be carrying on the role, he seems really excited and passionate about continuing and honouring Lances work. Overall people are quite happy with the choice, Lance loved the character of Zavala so much and I’m sure he would love to know that the characters story can continue with someone just as passionate as he was. Zavalas story from Forsaken to last season (season 21, which I believe was some of the last audio Lance Reddick recorded as Zavala) is incredible, and really explores some deep topics, similarly to Ikoras, particularly in Season of the Haunted (season 17). The shift to seasonal model, especially after ShadowKeep, really allowed Bungie to explore and tell more stories than before. Looking forward to part 4!!!
