How fearful she is of her destroying everyone's lives 7 years from now makes sense but the way she overlooks the little details like the selflessness she did to Val shows she is avoiding major doom. Unless the evil Pride takes over she should be okay! but given how powerful she is it's understandable why she is scared she might have also inherited Pride's evil alongside her talents

Rewatch the scene of Arthur using his ability. Look very carefully. I imagine we’ll be told flat out in two or three episodes; but it’s not quite the ability to fix up plants.
