Hulu is the best place right now. Before it used to be that you just had to buy the DVDs which is how we watch along but Hulu recently got DBZ Kai

I watched it till the end and it was the best thing i ever saw until now. I am 30yo now and want to give you our german intro's onto your way for many people it's one of the best intro's they have ever seen. In the original dub (and some versions of the English manga) this was censored, but the Kai dub tries to be as accurate to the original Japanese version and manga as possible. Which results in scenes like this.

2023-09-08 02:16:46 +0000 UTCGood lord. So I missed the boat on Kai the final chapters when it came out because I was insistent on buying the blu rays. I bought the first one and then just forgot the others, so when you started full reacting, I decided to watch along blind, and the conversation with elder kai is SO much worse than the original dub. Originally the buck just stopped at getting a kiss, so i'm a little surprised it escalated to harassments in this version. Not that I'm defending it, but you also gotta realize, Goku's a little more intuitive than we sometimes give him credit for. He realized right away that Elder Kai was similar to master Roshi, so he started bargaining with him in a way that Roshi would respond to, aaaaaaaaand it worked. It's a touch gross, but it worked.

Also about your fusion question, those other versions that looked funny were essentially half baked. When two people successfully fuse they become a different consciousness entirely which definitely inherited their fathers pride.

(A spoiler below of older and newer dragon ball) Goku offering Bulma is how he ended up becoming a disciple of roshi in the first place Bulma uses the dragon balls to make herself look young :P
