It's addressed early in the real dbz but the dragon balls cannot effect someone stronger than the person who created them. You cannot wish to kill majin buu, put him back into his deep slumber, teleport him away etc unless he too wants it. It's why each arc doesn't just get resolved with using the dragon balls to wish the enemy was dead

They told him android 17 and 18 were underwhelming for example which led to the creation of cell. The way manga are created is pretty strenuous. Mostly just a single person drawing and writing away to make deadlines. Toriyama says he more or less didn't sleep in a bed for a really long time and mostly at his desk for short periods of time.

As a kid, I had a VHS with 3 episodes, contained in this section here, and I rewatched it frequently. After Kai, do you guys plan to go on to GT, Super, or the Original Dragon Ball?
