Other series like resident evil are scary, having physical scary threats, but silent hill is more psychological delving more into fears and ideas that scare us. And lucky for us they announced a silent hill 2 remake. Yeah it seems weird to remake the second one and not the first one, but silent hill 2 is a standalone game. Only silent hill 1 and 3 have a connected story.
