2023-10-12 20:32:17 +0000 UTCFinally, Gohan steps up! Intrigued how they'll do the fight in DBZ kai: the original DBZ english dub made this into one of my absolute favorite fights. I'd also like to point out that the ridiculous psychic aliens (from the TFS Bardock special) predicted Gohan would become the strongest in the universe, so it feels good to have that bit of DBZ abridged finally paid off here.

2023-10-12 19:34:26 +0000 UTCSo that form that Gohan takes is called "Ultimate Gohan" or the fan-coined term- "Mystic Gohan". Its telltale sign is the one single bang that's down and white aura he has. It's never really explained within the series proper, but the implication is that, it's its own transformation separate from Super Saiyan (or at least that how they treat it nowadays). TL;DR: That new power-up is basically Gohan's version of Super Saiyan 3.
