In a way yes, especially the beginning before you find e weapon to fight with. Mostly it's survival with plenty of jump scares though

2023-10-17 22:29:59 +0000 UTCHonestly it's good that you didn't get a lot of the story in these. Most of the joy of these comes from playing through and learning the story. It gives just enough that gets you interested without giving too much away. Would definitely recommend you playing through both games
