The overall opinion is SAO Abridged does it all alot better, Asuna is a better character, events and storylines make sense, that is even with the fact they are making jokes while just going insane at times it still comes out better than Original SAO. Plenty of times someones says "Oh in the show it was actualy this that and happened" or "The characters reasons are this" and it sounds so dumb and stupid. Abridged fixes so many things and that includes the ending

SAO abridged is great, but SAO abridged changes alot from the original, for the better. it'll undoubtably be a disappointing experience watching SAO proper because SAO abridged is so good. While SAO is popular, it's not very good either. the writing is poor and it's filled with reki kawahara's fetishes and SA scenes

I feel like I maybe rewatched the first season a few years ago since it feels slightly more fresh remembering, but not 0 since it first aired, so that's definitely wayy overdue lol

They can try to fix this arc of the show with dialogue and editing, but they canβt will more footage of Asuna acting as a free agent into existence, so they just have to use dialogue and editing to stretch those bits as far as they can.

2023-10-15 23:02:48 +0000 UTCYeah, I'm not much a fan of the role playing either. Really brings down the pacing, and more difficult to connect to the characters, but it does help immerse into the world. Still looking forward to your reaction to the latest episode. It should be all uphill from here.
