The reason incest was made taboo in early civilizations is either due to early humans seeing that defects are more common in children of incest, or evolutionary cost (tribes that had a taboo against incest had a slight advantage and thus the taboo spread from culture to culture), but it makes sense that there is a variety in where specific cultures draw the line as cousins do not have as large of a chance of defects as siblings for example. In the majority of western cultures we've decided to draw the line somewhere in the 2nd/3rd cousin range, whereas some cultures see 1st cousins as distant enough. Ultimately, over here we consider marrying a cousin taboo. A few big reasons why western cultures draw the line more strictly is because incest is seen as more serious of an issue due to things like the Eugenics Movement in the 19th century, and in Europe some things with incest being primarily for nobility, etc.

Our Guild Girl should have more screening time who cares about other girl, director you must change that đ Also, quite neat that they take their time slowly about the world just like the first season to build up more situational awareness, but again why don't they add more explanation along the way? I get it that they don't have enough time to fit everything into one episode, but still, at the moment of silence where nobody talk, they could added narrative of GS so it didn't leave us at complete silence with musical background which I think don't make sense. Honestly nothing seems surprising, the fighting still looking clumsy at some part and the way they leave the prisoner up top clothes while their underparts was gone makes my assumption was on the money, "don't want to have allegations chasing after their back" Like seriously đ why though lik

Two hundred years ago intra-family marriages and a 12/13-yo mother were normal. And in 1952, Alan Turing had chemical castration to avoid imprisonment because he was gay. Today, which of those two cases if accepted and which is condemned?
