I was a kid using Limewire/Kazaa to download random things so downloaded this clip from Dragon Ball not knowing who Buu was, it was in Japanese and no context. I did not need any of that for my heart to sink when CHI CHI DIES!!!? I was like 10 and was crushed that day.

2023-11-02 16:20:30 +0000 UTCThe human extinction attack, still one of the most devastating moments in the franchise. Oh hey, the Chichi moment is here, too. It's like they said in abridged. Chaiotzu: "Died, yes. Sheesh, we've literally all done it." Chichi: "I haven't." Chiaotzu: "Give it time; you're hanging with the right crowd." Yeah, people complain about this saga compared to prior ones, and while I concede that it's not the most narratively or thematically cohesive, it has some of the most powerful emotional hits of the series. Side note, because I came into this with a musical number in my head; have you guys watched or are you going to watch Barbie?
