Dragon Ball Z Kai #156 Full Reaction

Full watch along reaction to DBZ Kai #156

Hey Ken we’re you thinking of the movie 8 legged freaks when you saw the cocoons? First thing that came to my mind lol

Malcolm Shanks

yeah we haven't heard good things about GT. Like not even one person has recommended it haha

Bethany and Ken

We don't so much hate him as just disappointed haha. He was built up in the beginning by Mr Piccolo so we expected big things. And then making fun of him just became the default 😂

If you continue beyond DBZ, I think you should watch the Super movies before diving into the DBS series. 1) The movies should present a nice change of pace following the Buu saga; 2) You can watch the movies without spoiling the series. (minor spoilers). The DBS series is ok. It mostly floats on nostalgia but suffers from big continuity issues--not that fans won't enjoy it. Coming off of Kai you may notice some periodic art direction lapses in super. This depends on the director with some like Masato Mitsuka or Kazuya Karasawa performing better than others. I don't have a good excuse for the bad post-production in DBS. I'm assuming you'll skip GT :P

they really hate supreme kai lol. Can't blame them though, I mean he's less useful than lesser gods like kami, dende and king kai

For me the android/cell saga will always be peak dbz. The writing was so complex, the relationships between characters like Trunks & Vegeta's painful relationship. Can't cap i had a crush on Trunks like every girl, felt like i betrayed Goku lol. Goku & Gohan's loving moments in the chamber & Goku teaching Gohan how to deal with greif is amazing! You can also add that the saga literally starts with one of the best, darkest dbz movie's ever made 'History Of Trunks' & if you know the back story of 18, 17 & 16 with Dr Gero it get's darker. Cell & the androids were the first villians in dbz to make us feel like there was no hope. The suspense of Cell's appearance was frightning too! Also the incredible writing between mom & son with Bulma & trunks & every character contributed massively. They watched the abridged series so they didn't quite get to feel that levity. The levity of also not having Goku with you to fight the war, since he had the heart virus. I also love that OG Dragon Ball is a factor in the saga because of the red ribbon army connection. I can go on nerding out lol but i love this saga so so much. Reminds me of all the times as a kid watching this on toonami with my older brothers but everyone having their own favorite saga makes it fun and if you're a Dragon Ball fan, i automatically love you regardless lol

Asuka Yousei 妖精帝國

Well, we finally got there. The most terrifying villain in all of Dragonball Z. It was a long time coming, but we're finally here.

I still completely understand why supreme kai was clueless, there was no way to know that being said them roasting him makes me laugh so much! lol the next episode is a big one <3

Asuka Yousei 妖精帝國

I need the next episode😭

Seeing Buu in genuine distress and fear for once, and it feeling genuine, as Vegeta tugs at Fat Buu's pod is so incredibly satisfying and also horrifying considering what's enfolding now. And thus Act 2 is concluded. I hope that, despite the Buu saga being kinda hit-or-miss, everyone can agree that everything from here on is honestly peak DBZ.
