If you are curious the Codrii Speakers are a fictional group, but seem to be largely inspired by the Cathars. These were a nomadic group of gnostic Christians who were often persecuted by the Catholic church between the 12th and 14th Century. The writers also seem to take some influence from old nomadic Jewish and Romani cultures.

2023-11-27 17:48:27 +0000 UTCFor the most part, I'm still on Dracula's side at this point. These people killed his wife and cheered as she was burned alive. Is this what she would have wanted? No, but she probably didn't want to be burned alive either. Dracula showed mercy to that woman last episode that said she refused to cheer her death because she knew his wife was a good person. Dracula told her to leave. He could have killed her too but he didn't. I like Trevor because he's got that sarcastic asshole that Alucard had going for him.
