& yes! it's a tearjerker seeing the old school characters who goku helped as a kid for sure! the original dragon ball is actually the first thing i watched with my brothers. It's arguably the best of dragon ball, such a heartfelt journey, fun, endearing & even heart breaking at times. Solely focused on martial arts too. Goku helped a looooot of people to say the least lol

2023-12-06 03:24:00 +0000 UTCI always appreciated this episode because as someone else said alot of the people who noticed goku are people goku saved in the pasted when he was younger in Original Dragon Ball The people in the Snowy area were from when Goku first fought The Red Ribbon Army the creators of the Android and Cell. The 2nd tribal people live at the base of The Lookout and were who first taught goku of the Legend of Kami/Piccolo. When goku first climbs the tower he thinks the Cat is Kami lol. It wasnt just Satan City. They were trying to get the whole world. Satan City and West City though are the only 2 main cities Dragon ball focuses on.

2023-12-05 21:43:31 +0000 UTCI think the reason why vegeta and Goku didn't think of telling mr Satan that he should be one to tell the people of the earth to raise their hands was because Goku and Vegeta really underestimated Mr Satan and him being a hero and helping them in this situation which is why Goku was surprised when he saw Mr Satan being clutch also I doubt Goku knows the city is named after Mr Satan as Goku was dead when Mr Satan became popular which happened after the cell saga

2023-12-05 21:13:02 +0000 UTCIf Fat Buu wanted to hurt Mr Satan, he would have. I think he was just so pissed off, he wasn't in any mood for Satan treating him like a child in that moment. Kinda like: "Bitch, don't forget who I am. I'm Maajin Buu and I'm a tank!" Yeah, a lot of the characters that showed up were cameos from OG Dragonball. And it was kinda emotional to see them for the first time. Including a blink and you'll miss it appearance from Launch, who was a main character in OG Dragonball, but Toriyama (quite literally) forgot she existed and she was written out of DBZ.

2023-12-05 20:29:57 +0000 UTCMr. Satan losing his patience with the Earthlings and them chanting his name, finally securing their energy for the Spirit Bomb never fails to give me chills. It's also so rare to see Goku so mentally exhausted and that "GOOOOO" he screams trying to finally put down this invincible monster is sooo good. One of the best episodes of the Buu saga by far.
