2023-12-13 17:27:52 +0000 UTCI love this episode because it shows Goku is a protector. That's why he got flashbacks of his grandpa Gohan and even named his son Gohan. Protecting the eggs is literally something Grandpa Gohan taught him about life. Goku is a protector <3 & vegeta gave buu a hotdog i forgot about! so adorable lol

2023-12-13 13:31:43 +0000 UTCTo expand on @REDE's comment the events of Dragon Ball Super take place during the same 10 year time jump that happens in the last episodes or at least rather close to it. The events of the last 2 episodes are more closely related to the events of Dragon Ball GT which was made by Toei Animation and not by Akira Toriyama who wrote the original story for DBZ so most consider it non-canon because of a certain girl character.

2023-12-13 01:59:34 +0000 UTCI always love these peaceful slice of life episodes. The Dragon World is such a fascinating and interesting world with some bizarre world building. Seeing these characters at peace is incredibly satisfying and some of the filler episodes where they just live their lives is so much fun. edit - I am also so happy for Gohan and Videl. I love how she's just as goofy as he is, joining in on the whole superhero shtick because of course she would. Will you guys be skipping the first few episodes of Super and watching the movies? Or watching the Dragon Ball Super adaptation of the the movies?
