2024-02-12 04:47:38 +0000 UTCHey, a bit late to this, but you guys said you only had 2 movies left? Does that mean you're skipping Battle of Godz and Resurrection F before starting Super? Those movies came out before Super started, and I think they're important to watch. Super goes over the events that happens in those movies, but it's nowhere near as good. I hope you watch those 2 movies before starting Super.

This is so interesting, as it's the closest you've been to seeing original English DBZ. Looks like yall watched with the surround sound audio, so English dub with Japanese music. Today, though, I learned that the DVD intro is from the japanese version, not the english, as that tune is the intro for every episode on the entire dvd box set. Meanwhile, you get to hear Linda Young as Frieza. I miss Tiffany Volmer as Bulma.

And to answer why Frieza sounded like an 89 year old chainsmoker, when the movie released (in America) Frieza had a different voice actor, but the voice actress gave up her role when DBZ Kai started, to the modern Frieza voice you're hearing today. And sadly that voice actor recently passed and has a new voice actor, but he exactly sounds the same as the one who passed
