The devs of the original first Street Fighter left Capcom and joined SNK before Street Fighter 2 and created Fatal Fury which then led to Art of fighting and then King of Fighters. King of Fighters is basically crossover between Art of Fighting and Fatal Fury. Also artists and devs would flip flop between SNK and Capcom throughout the years which is why you might see similarities between characters

2024-02-25 00:33:35 +0000 UTCMore KOF, love it. Such a weird order to go by. There's a lot that was missing, you didn't get the proper opening for KOF XV. Anyways, I did link a while back, maybe a year or 2 ago, tye special interactions for some KOF games/SNK vs. Capcom. They show like the rivalries and friendships between characters. I mentioned before how KOF is basically the Smash Bros. if SNK games. Fatal Fury, Psycho Soilders (I believe that's the game called), Art of Fighting, and many more are where the characters are from. Kyo and Iori are original characters for KOF. Kyo is the main protagonist for KOF, then comes K' (K Dash), then Ash Crimson, and finally Shun' Ei.
