Genshin Impact Version Trailers 4.3-5.2 Reaction

The trailer that heavily featured Arlecchino also featured images of an optional area that is home to, in my opinion, one of the most beautiful side quests in the game. I'll tell more about it once you've finished the Fontaine story, because it has huge spoilers about what you'll learn in Fontaine (you have Sumeru before that), but it's a side quest that involves music and symphonies, and it's awesome. Also, the 5.1 trailer almost doesn't do the archon quest justice (it shows most of the cutscenes, but not the gameplay of that particular quest). It's brutal. Like, "I spent over an hour fully stressed and completely focused on every single one of my actions when I did this quest" kind of brutal. When I said in the comments of an earlier episode that I had reached the current end of the quest line, that's where I was, I had just finished the 5.1 quest and the 5.2 update was still weeks away, and it shook me. It's not my favorite quest of the game, but it's definitely up there simply because of how invested I became in it. And it hurts quite a bit. The current version is 5.2, and adds a few areas in Natlan, though the nation isn't yet finished. I don't know what's planned for the next version, but I can guess that it might involve the last few pieces of Natlan left (a chain side quest mentions an area that we can see in the distance as being the next destination for that quest), the last nation will be Shneznaya but I suspect that we might take a stroll through the ruins of Khaenri'ah before that, because I don't believe they wouldn't include that given how important it is in the lore.

Just gonna say this now. What’s gonna happen in Natlan, will make the “civil war” in Inazuma look like child’s play. And I’m speaking factually because even though we keep being reminded of the war, we never really saw any ramifications that made it look like it was bigger than what we were shown. That’s why a lot of players don’t really like the Inazuma story, because it mostly tells, not shows, which is the opposite of what a good story should do. I thought it was fine since we already saw what happens when people lose their Visions. But yeah, even I agree they could have shown the grave state of Inazuma more clearly.
