Loved that you referenced Muhammad Ali, he’s my 2nd favorite role model after Bruce Lee

yeah he looks mid twenties and Asami looks early twenties could also see 19. So obviously we didn't know haha 🤗😂

Bethany and Ken

That's a great call about Boruto. 😯

Loved House! Thanks for the VA fun fact. 🙂. And yeah, I've actually known about Aubrey Plaza since her days at college doing skits with Donald Glover. Actually forgot the name of the group. But her and Donald Glover were obviously the standouts

Yes. Maturity definitely doesn't just come with age. Just because you are older doesn't mean you are wiser. It should. I believe it was Muhammed Ali who said, (paraphrasing) 'A man that is the same at 50 as he was at 30 is a man who has learned nothing.' 🤗

I totally thought Iroh was in his 20s because it's been so long since I actually looked at his age lol. It makes more sense that he is in his 30s, but they drew him VERY well XD

I understand you don’t have the context, but I get creeped out every time you ship Asami (age 18 in book 1 and 19 in book 2) with Iroh (age 36, then 37).

Hell Yeah Gaming

Contrary to many others, Season 2 is actually my favorite season, so I'm definitely looking forward to these upcoming reactions! I also felt like the animation changed this season, almost seems more "anime-like" rather than cartoon-style. When you guys were talking about Korra's stubbornness compared to Aang's it reminded me of Naruto and his son Boruto from your previous reactions. Naruto never grew up with a family and didn't have any friends initially, which made his journey really rough, but he learned to trust the advice he later got from his eventual comrades, and even his enemies. On the other hand his son Boruto, like Korra, had a family and friends, and yet was stubborn to take their advice and learn from his own mistakes until the end of the movie. I guess sometimes in life we forget the value of having support when it's in front of us, even when we don't want to take their advice

I love Aubrey Plaza in this show. Fantastic casting choice. Lol

Voice Actor Fun Fact! I feel like I ain't done one of these in a while. I don't know if y'all ever watched House M.D., but Kya is voiced by Lisa Edelstein, who played Lisa Cuddy in that show. So happy to finally get Varrick and Zhu Li in the mix. I feel with little to no uncertainty that you two will love these two. Ah yes, Eska and Desna. I love these two, though I understand that they're not for everyone. Also! I forgot until I heard her talk, but Eska is voiced by Aubrey Plaza, who (I'm willing to bet you already know) played Rio in Agatha All Along. This was her only role I knew before this year, so I'm happy I have a second fantastic role of hers to reference.

Ages of the main characters/Team Avatar in this season/Book Two: - Korra 18 - Mako 19 - Bolin 17 - Asami 19 Chief Unalaq's creepy children, aka Korra weirdo cousins, are Eska and Desna. They are 16 and Eska is the one who is being all possessive and Fatal Attraction over Bolin. I honestly think it's harder for Korra to learn for her mistakes than Aang. Aang was traveling the world and fighting off a world war at like 12 years old, whereas Korra has been admittedly sheltered by the White Lotus for her entire life. She was 17 in season one and it's only now in season 2 that she is trying to break off on her own away from Tenzin. Even in season one when she was following Tarrlok, Tenzin was still nearby but now Tenzin is going to be far away at the Air Temples. Also Korra is more stubborn and more of a "physical" Avatar, whereas Aang was heavily spiritual due to being raised by monks. Korra isn't even as fluid thinking as most other waterbenders, she is more like Zuko (like Ken said) and like Toph. I think that Korra is just SO desperate to prove herself as an Avatar, especially around all the people who knew Aang and keep comparing her to him, that her heart gets in the way of her brain. You guys are so right about how Korra has to learn by doing. Maturity doesn't come from age, it comes from knowledge and experience. Fun theory that may or may not be true: Korra's family is possibly related to Princess Yue. I personally believe this theory because I feel that the Northern Water Tribe would have followed the monarchal rule of passing the throne onto Yue's father's closest living relative like the father's sibling or cousin since Yue had no children herself. It could be total bunk, but I don't know how else they would have picked a family to rule aside from familial connections. Also it would be a cool callback to Yue, but I don't know if this theory was ever confirmed or denied so take it with a grain of salt.
