Oh man. The dreaded close/open shift 😱 Hated those. I was a manager. And the only time I got creeped out was when I went to this location that was by the beach (sounds cooler than it was), and it was pretty big. And open. And just felt creepy being alone there. Like i was in a horror film

Kinger just doing Kinger things, because that's what Kinger does.

23:06 That's Kinger riding a bull. Who knows what he was up to while everyone was working? Got an A+ tho

Oh. Well then. Scratch that theory.

Just a little note on that bit about Ragatha: That line was likely just meant to be a reference to Raggedy Ann & Andy: A Musical Adventure, since Ragatha's character takes so much inspiration from it. Someone put the two scenes side by side here: https://youtu.be/sermpiN76tg?si=vk_6HbCRZ2dSMh28

I like how we learn a little more about more of the characters this episode and not just the one who's the star of the episode. Looks like Gangle really did want to become a comic artist, but was told/decided that her dreams were unrealistic, add the fact that she was a shift manager in a fast food place, it's no wonder she's considered to have depression. Also that she's constantly wearing her sad mask. So what I liked about this episode in particular was that the happy mask given to her was plastic, a "fake" mask if you would. With her usual mask which gets broken or lost every episode , it's easy to see her true emotions, but with a fake mask it's harder to break, and only when she takes it off can she truly be herself. Sad sure, but she feels free. Also cute detail at the end, her drawing looks to be Zooble in human form. Probably why Zooble likes Gangle so much, because she can draw Zooble in a way where they like themself. We seem to get a little more info on Ragatha's life before the circus. She had horses, tea parties, and dance lessons. Seems like she might of been from a part of high society. Dunno about the packages falling on her though, maybe she got buried under gifts from suitors or business partners trying to kiss her ass or something? Jax pretty much is burnt out and defeated this episode. He even talks to Pomni normally. Now here's my take on Jax, I think his antagonistic, annoying attitude is a way to help the others and himself cope with the Digital Circus. He becomes a lightning rod and a common enemy not just to keep the others sane, but himself sane. He seems like someone who thrives on attention and human interaction, and he definitely gets it with his personality. So when everyone is working and not paying attention to him, he gets stressed.

This is a bit more personal than what I usually comment here, but I just wanted to express this bc I never thought I'd resonate with a moment in this series as a hard as the 20 secs from 18:20 - 18:40. While I've never been a manager, I completely understood the feeling of being in this setting. I used to work the closing shifts for a fairly big diner, and would usually end up staying past midnight as an end to a 10-12 hour shift. Such an empty feeling being the only employee left in the building besides the manager, where the only noise being made in the dead of night is the sound of trying to finish things up while running on fumes. Didn't help that I would have to be up again at about 6AM to start getting ready for the morning shift right after. Managed to get to a point where I only have to work during the day, so things are fine now. Hopefully uni works out so I don't gotta be stuck doing that in the future🤞. Again, not saying this to garner sympathy (it's certainly not a unique situation). Just caught me off guard when I first watched this episode is all.

6:19 Translation for Orbsman that some attentive fans have recently been sharing on YT: "That's right, it is me Orbsman! Can I order the classic #57 value meal?" Based on Pomni's answer, she seems to have actually understood him. Pretty impressive.
