James Gunn said in an interview that he doesn't want to tell the same old story/origin story of Superman, cause like you said we seen it a dozen times. He also stated that this movie will take place were Superheros are already an established thing in this world. Hopefully he can capture the magic with this film

2024-12-25 00:28:36 +0000 UTCHearing the OG score by John Williams made me teary eyed and nostalgic. Christopher Reeves is my #1 Superman. I was kinda iffy on this trailer but the more I rewatch it the more I'm wanting to see this movie when it comes out. Hoping they do it justice.

The same type of superhero-like Justice League New Frontiers with JFK’s speech or All-Star Superman. Truth justice and the American way.
