I'm not proud by how funny I found that bit with do the thing ๐Ÿ˜‚

Bethany and Ken

Glad we could provide some new perspective on this episode ๐Ÿ™‚

Bethany and Ken

Yeah thank God baldness doesn't run in my family or I would've lost my hair at 20 ๐Ÿ˜‚

That line made me want to know what Varrick's definition of a big lie is considering how over the top he goes on the regular ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ

Eska is so toxic that I don't think there IS a right way to breakup with her since she refuses to hear it. I LOVED your facial expressions throughout the reaction, but your expression to "horror movie Eska" was my favorite! Varrick is like the crazy uncle; you love him in doses but having him around all the time would be too much lol. I'm putting money on this right now: by the time this season is over, Ken's new catchphrase will be "do the thing!" XD I loved the side story of Tenzin and his family, and I really love the family photo Kya had. Aang wasn't a perfect parent, no parent is, but I think he did his best. He was the last Airbender for so long and then when Tenzin was born and had air powers, Aang had to spend more time with Tenzin so he could carry on their culture in a way Bumi and Kya just can't. It's like how the Air Acolytes can verbally carry on the legacy, but they can't properly be Airbending teachers for the Avatar. That doesn't mean that Aang didn't love his other kids, it just means his relationships with them were different. His relationship with Tenzin could have easily developed into one of resentment on Tenzin's part because it is a LOT of pressure to have to carry an entire culture essentially on your own. I believe we are supposed to get a movie of Aang and the gang as adults?? If we do, I would love for it to show more about his role as a father so we can have a more complete picture. Great reaction as always!! :)

The whole Bolin bribery side plot in this episode is one of my favorites. It's so stupid, but I find it so funny. VA Fun Fact: Judge Hotak was voiced by Tom Kane, whom our generation may know as Monkey Fist in Kim Possible or Him in Powerpuff Girls. I'm glad you two seem to be enjoying Varrick and his antics. Freakin' love this guy; he's definitely in my top 10 favorite characters of Korra. I'm sorry, but the ending scene with Eska might be my favorite scene of the whole scene. Definitely in my top 5.

Wow you guys pointed out something that I missed! Tenzen's relationship with his siblings and Ikki's relationship with her siblings shows the ups and downs in family, yet their love for each other holds and keeps them together. In contrast, Tonraq and Unalaq often show the dark sides of family, that sometimes blood family isn't real family. This episode did a great job showing the contrast between the two families
