2025-01-06 13:31:40 +0000 UTCinstant transmission once activated is instant but Goku still needs to lock onto an energy source and then place his fingers on his head. when the opponent is jiren, someone who literally was stated by Belmod to surpass time itself Instant isn't really much of a feat anymore. It would have been cool for them to do a scene similar to the Return of Cooler movie where they fight inside of instant transmission.

2025-01-03 16:27:14 +0000 UTCGoku can't always use instant transmission to keep himself from getting knocked out of the Ring especially as we get towards the Business end of the Tournament coz Instant transmission requires Goku to latch onto someone's energy in order to teleport and towards the Business end if Goku and Jiren are the only two fighters remaining in the Ring ,he has no one's energy to latch onto and teleport himself back into the Ring

Such a beautiful transformation, and I just love how the creators decided to give Vegeta another route rather than give him Ultra Instinct, which the creators could've easily done, but that's not who Vegeta is

2025-01-02 23:13:54 +0000 UTCI thought it was a missed opportunity that 17 didn’t allow himself to be knocked out with Top, I know that it would mean that U7 would have been down 4 ppl, but considering how big of a threat Top was, it would have been worth losing one of our guys 🤷🏽♀️ Vegetas new transformation has finally been revealed, I personally think it’s very fitting that his ki is the colour of royal blue, very princely. The transformation is meant to be equal to Gokus SSJ Blue with Kaioken but I’m more ecstatic that Vegeta has gotten his own separate power up and can only hope he ventures down a different path to power, separate from Gokus.

2025-01-02 20:34:23 +0000 UTCSince there are few episodes left, the idea of Vegeta getting another form so shortly after SSBE being unlikely, and Vegeta openly stating that he was going to follow “his way” instead of Ultra Instinct in the last episode, I think I’m clear to say that SSBE is what Vegeta gets instead of Ultra Instinct. To this day, Vegeta has not reached the state of Ultra Instinct nor continued working toward obtaining it. Can’t overstate how much I like that they’ve taken the story in this direction. IMO it feels way more fulfilling and intriguing for Vegeta to stop trying to emulate the forms Goku gets first and switch to developing as a warrior in a way that suits him more personally. Like Goku and Ultra Instinct, SSBE feels like Vegeta has turned his biggest weakness (his ego causing him to think too much, underestimate others, etc.) into his greatest strength. Goku’s progression has often focused on mastering diverse martial arts techniques first and raising his raw power second. Vegeta’s progression tends to boil down to his pride motivating him to raise his raw power and come up with bigger and better ki blasts. Goku’s greatest weapon is his ultra-developed mindfulness of martial arts while Vegeta’s greatest weapon is his ultra-weaponized ego. The manga has Vegeta put it rather well when Jiren asks him if he’s trying to achieve Ultra Instinct: “Such a move doesn’t suit me. The notion of being taught anything by anyone, even. I had no master, and I have no memories of my father – King Vegeta – teaching me the basics. No, I’m a prodigy, forged by the fires of solo training. Just now I was close to losing sight of what makes me, me. I aim for the top playing by my own rules, so Kakarot can have Ultra Instinct to himself for all I care.”

When fans saw it there before this episode premiered, there was debate over whether or not is meant to be a new form or just a coloring error. Here’s some info about it: Like Trunks’ Super Saiyan Rage (or Blue Moon/Chardonnay to you two), the form is never explicitly given a name or explanation in the anime or manga. Fan theories like to speculate that the form is the SSB equivalent of SS Grade 2. Also like Super Saiyan Rage, it was likely just introduced by Toei to keep Vegeta from falling too far behind Goku and his Ultra Instinct just as they prevented Trunks from lagging behind Goku and Vegeta. Toyotaro started including it in the manga during the chapters of the T.o.P that came out after this episode and a little bit onward. Episode director Megumi Ishitani once said in an interview that its power is meant to be relative to Goku’s SSB Kaioken. As with Super Saiyan Rage, the arcade game Super Dragon Ball Heroes and V-Jump scans have given the form a name that’s been translated as Super Saiyan Blue Evolution/Evolved (SSBE), which is what many fans refer to it as. However, a lot of fans have also collectively decided to coin it as “Super Saiyan Royal Blue”. Get it? Because it’s exclusive to the Prince of all Saiyans?
